It is recorded that was SWA on 7th June but i suspect these are wounds that were sustained on D-Day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo, why has the grouping got 2 x 506th PIR DUI's... In one photograph taken in what looks like Austria, he is stood next too a 101st AB Officer. If you look closely at Jarosik in the picture his 82nd uniform has what looks like those 506th DUI's fitted... Who knows why, I suspect something to do with his boxing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grouping consists of 15 original wartime military photographs, 8 pre war or post war photographs of the vet. A pre war athletic union membership record.
